1 Koala Bears By: Ms. Fulghum’s 2 nd Grade Class January 28, 2008

2 Ms. Fulghum taught us how to research on the Alabama Virtual Library (AVL). We found facts about Ms. Fulghum’s favorite animal: the koala bear. Then, we created PowerPoint slides to show what we learned. Take a look! We hope you enjoy our very first presentation!

3 Koalas are marsupials; this means that they keep their babies in pouches on their tummies. Ms. Fulghum

4 When a koala is born it is the size of a bean. Stephanie

12 Queensland koalas are the smallest and weigh about 15 pounds. Kelsy

13 Victoria koalas are the biggest and can weigh up to 30 pounds. Joni
