2 Common Australian Animals So Cute!

3 From about the year 1910, around 100,000 Aboriginal children were taken from their families by white Australians to try to teach them the ways that the white Australians wanted them to be taught. They stopped taking the children in 1970 and had a Sorry Day in 2007 on the 11 th of June. Many of these children have not seen their families since they were taken.

4 Tasmanian Devil Tassie Devil: They have white and black fur. Tassie Devils are not fast and they don’t kill their food so their meals are dead when they find them. The Tasmanian Devil facial tumour disease is killing the devils at the moment as they are near extinct. they spread it by biting each other. Tassie Devil myths: In the American cartoon version of the Tasmanian Devil the devil is called “Tassie.” “Tassie” who is the devil from the American cartoon version is very wild and spins around but the actual devil in real life does not.

6 Port Arthur Port Arthur is an old prison in Tasmania and it’s for you to go to see what it was like for prisoners, guards, bosses of the prisoners and the boss’ families in the olden days (convict times). You can have Ghost Tours there and some people that say they can feel ghosts touching them/going through them.
