Version of document: 1.02 Software Version CBox: v3.8.0 or later Option Tilt Bucket Implementation Language: English

Goal of the document 1.Requirements 2.Setup of the sensors a)With the triangle mount b)Without the triangle mount (setup « free ») 3.Calibration at a new machine 4.Calibration at an existing machine 5.Machine Parameters

RequirementsRequirements Tilt Bucket Kit, that contains: Tilt Bucket Kit, that contains: – 2 mini-sensors – 2 support plates – 1 « triangle » mount – Glue pads and cleaning pads A tilt bucket on the machine; either a stand- alone or a tilt quickage, such as Engcon, Powertilt or equivalent A tilt bucket on the machine; either a stand- alone or a tilt quickage, such as Engcon, Powertilt or equivalent

Setup of the sensors Install the triangle holder on the lower part of the tilt axis as shown on these pictures: Install the triangle holder on the lower part of the tilt axis as shown on these pictures: On a tilt bucket On a compact quick link device  The triangle holder may be setup in ANY position and orientation! On a quick link tilt device

Setup of the sensors If there is no space available to setup the triangle holder, it is possible to install the 2 mini sensors without it, strongly following the following rules: If there is no space available to setup the triangle holder, it is possible to install the 2 mini sensors without it, strongly following the following rules: 1°) The planes of the two sensors must be perpendicular to each other 2°) The longer sides of the sensor’s base plates must remain collinear 3°) The “bumps” with the radio antennas underneath should be placed on the same side 4°) Tilt A should not be mixed-up with Tilt B

Setup of the sensors 1°) The planes of the two sensors must be perpendicular to each other:

Setup of the sensors 2°) The longer sides of the sensor’s base plates must remain collinear: Tilt A Tilt B

Setup of the sensors 3°) The “bumps” with the radio antennas underneath should be placed on the same side Tilt B Tilt A

Setup of the sensors 4°) Tilt A should not be mixed-up with Tilt B. The following rules shall be applied to install the sensors: a)Choose one of the two plates and imagine an arrow from the "ears" and going towards the blade spring. b)On the second plate, imagine an arrow from the back of the plate to the top of the plate.  The two arrows are in the same direction, then plat e a) is for the Tilt B.  If the two arrows are opposite, then plate a) is for the Tilt A. a) b)

Calibration on a new machine Perform a complete machine calibration: Perform a complete machine calibration:

Calibration on a new machine Select the machine’s configuration: Select the machine’s configuration: - Tilt Bucket: - Quick Link Tilt:

Calibration on a new machine Continue by following the instructions on the screen: Continue by following the instructions on the screen: 1.Open/close the bucket to horizontally level the tilt axis. 2.THEN tilt the bucket left/right to horizontally level the bucket blade. 3.FINALLY click on « Next » 1.Slowly close the bucket appx. 30-50° 2.THEN again control & correct the bucket blade horizontal level. 3.FINALLY click on « Next » Continue with the rest of the procedure...

Calibration on a new machine To add more buckets after the first calibration: To add more buckets after the first calibration: – If only the bucket was tilting (NO quick link tilt), you will still have the choice between tilt bucket or “standard bucket”. – With a previous calibrated quick link tilt, all added buckets after will be tilt buckets. Note: Don't forget to measure & dial-in the width of each new bucket by going to the machine parameters.

Calibration at an existing machine To add support for tilt on an already calibrated machine, select an already calibrated bucket and go in “System Settings» To add support for tilt on an already calibrated machine, select an already calibrated bucket and go in “System Settings» -Select "Calibration Tilt bucket“, If the actually attached and selected bucket has his own tilt mechanism. When you will select this bucket, the tilt function will be available. -Choose "Calibration Quick Link Tilt" if it is an Engcon, Powertilt or equivalent system. All registered buckets will have the tilt function.

Machine Parameters -On the tab 'Buckets', the “Tilt" option is unchecked. -On the tab 'Options', the "Quick Link Tilt" option is unchecked. 1.No tilt available Note: The Tilt Calibration is not available in manual mode. See previous chapter to launch a calibration of the Tilt of a machine part.

Machine Parameters -On the tab 'Buckets', the “Tilt" option is checked. -On the tab 'Options', the "Quick Link Tilt" option is unchecked 2.Tilt on bucket(s) Note: To redo the tilt calibration of this bucket, remove the corresponding tilt Calibration by UN-checking the ‘Tilt Bucket' box, then rerun a tilt calibration.

Machine Parameters -On the tab 'Buckets', the “Tilt" option is checked. -On the tab 'Options', the "Quick Link Tilt" option is checked 2.Quick Link Tilt Note: Disabling the "Quick Link Tilt" option removes the tilt calibration for all buckets.
