13  Children must be at school by 7.15 am on Monday 6 th June 2016.  We return to school on Friday 10 th June at approximately 4.45pm. Please don’t be late collecting the children.  We will send you a text when we have arrived and a text to tell you the exact time we will be home.  Catherine Anunobi and Charlotte Angeli

14  Excellent behaviour is expected at all times.  All children should follow the school benchmarks, any child who doesn’t follow these rules may miss out on the activities.  If there is persistent poor behaviour, your child will be collected by a member of staff and will miss out on the remaining trip.

15  Any medicine must be clearly labelled and will be kept by the staff once we get to Pendarren.  Asthma pumps must be brought if they have been prescribed.

16  Bed linen: single duvet cover, single sheet and one pillow case OR a sleeping bag. The duvet and pillow is provided.  Water bottle  Warm tops, sweatshirts or jumpers x 3 (fleece is ideal)  Shirts or T-shirts x 4 (some with long sleeves)  Trousers x 3 for activities (jogging bottoms or leggings, not jeans)  Jeans x 1 pair (for evenings)  Underwear (enough for the week)  Trainers x 1 pair (old ones, for activities)  Trainers x 1 pair (for inside wear)  Large towel x 1 (for activities)  Swimming costume (April – October only)  Warm hat and gloves (essential in winter, mittens are warmer than fingered gloves), scarf is optional.  Nightwear / pyjamas  Dressing gown and slippers (optional)  Wash kit – towel, soap, toothbrush and toothpaste  Thick socks x 3 pairs, plus thinner socks  Wellington boots (if already owned) should be brought for primary school and field studies courses. Can be borrowed from the Centre for no charge.  Walking boots (if already owned) should be brought for primary school and field studies courses. Can be borrowed from the Centre for no charge.  Sunscreen and peaked sunhats for late spring / summer term  Disposable camera

17  At least one set of casual clothes is required for evenings in the Centre, together with soft shoes or slippers (indoor use only). Old clothes are most suitable for Pendarren activities. Things not to bring:  Electrical items e.g. electronic items, phones, cameras.  Food- all snacks will be provided.  Note that Pendarren is equipped to provide waterproof jacket, trousers, walking boots, wellington boots, wetsuits and other specialist protective clothing as well as rucksacks. Photographs  We encourage the children to bring a disposable camera. The staff at Pendarren and the teaching staff will take photos and copies will be provided of all the main activities.

18  Children will need a drink and a snack for the journey – but not a packed lunch!  Pocket Money – No more than £10 and in coins.  MP3 players are the children’s responsibility.  No mobile phones.

19  Waterproof jackets, trousers and boots are provided for the children. Please bring a towel for activities as well as a towel for showering.  Hopefully it will be hot, so pack some sun-cream.

20  If you have recently changed your phone number please make sure you have given us your new number in case we need to contact you.  I will phone the school each day to let everyone know how they are and the school will send daily texts to parents.
