2 About IPC Media produces over 60 iconic media brands, with print alone reaching almost two thirds of UK women and 42% of UK men – almost 26 million UK adults – while our websites collectively reach over 20 million users every month. The men's portfolio (IPC Inspire) comprises a wealth of leisure brands including Country Life, Horse & Hound, Rugby World and Decanter, as well as lifestyle brands including Nuts, Mousebreaker and NME. Our mass market women's division (IPC Connect) comprises famous women's weeklies including Look, Now, Chat and Woman; TV entertainment brands including What's on TV, TVTimes and TV & Satellite Week and, online, the goodtoknow network. Our upmarket women's division (IPC Southbank) comprises luxury fashion brands including Marie Claire and InStyle, lifestyle brands including woman&home and essentials and home interest brands including Ideal Home, Livingetc and housetohome.

4 When did it begin? The New Musical Express (better known as the NME ) is a popular music publication in the United Kingdom, published weekly since March 1952. It started off as a newspaper then gradually became a magazine. During the period 1972 to 1976 it was particularly associated with gonzo journalism, then became closely associated with punk rock through the writing of Tony Parsons and Julie Burchill. An online version of NME, NME.COM, was launched in 1996. Today NME.COM has 5 million users per month.

5 Who publishes it? Tracy Cheesman is the publisher Ipc Media publish this magazine Krissi Murison edits the magazine Krissi Murison was named the magazine's eleventh editor on 29 July 2009. She took over as the first female editor in September 2009. NME.COM is currently edited by Luke Lewis
