WHO ELSE IS IN MY TEAM FOR THAT EVENT? DO I KNOW WHAT LANE I SHOULD BE RUNNING IN? IF THERE IS A GAP CAN I FILL IT TO WIN POINTS FOR MY TEAM?

7. TRACK ATHLETES 2 heats per year group per event. The first race will be for your B athlete. Place your stronger runner in the second race.

8. Girls: Polo shirts, skorts, trainers, black games socks (white ankle socks on the track if you prefer). Spikes if you have them. NO ATHLETIC SHORT-SHORTS!!! Boys: Polo shirts, shorts, trainers, black games socks (white ankle socks on the track if you prefer). Spikes if you have them. Hockey players will require black games socks, shin pads & gum shields. All other kit will be supplied (bike helmets, tennis rackets etc). Large refillable drinks bottle (no fizzy drinks). Plenty of high energy snacks. The canteen will be open before registration for drinks and as normal for lunch at 12:30. Sun cream, cap or sun hat. A watch would be helpful. 9. For sports day to be a success staff are relying on all students behaviour to be of the highest standard. Key Points Expectations on attendance is the same as a normal school day. When you are not competing you MUST stay in your team base. Arrive at your event on time. Help the staff officials by listening to instructions. Please go to the toilet before you come down to the field. Face paint will not be allowed. Your phone must stay in the bottom of your bag. We have photographers on site to take photos for you. The normal behaviour policy will be used for those who do not contribute positively. HAVE A GREAT DAY! Expectations
