3. Цель исследования: изучение национальных традиций и праздников страны изучаемого языка и культуры.

4. Задачи исследования: 1.Выявить и описать национальные праздники страны изучаемого языка с использованием страноведческих материалов. 2.Изучить традиции, обычаи, обряды, раскрывающие компоненты национальной культуры страны. 3. Сравнить традиции и праздники страны изучаемого языка и родной страны.

5. Методы исследования: теоретический анализ по проблеме исследования; изучение и моделирование страноведческого материала, обобщение и синтез полученных результатов.

13. July – Racing There are all kinds of racing in England: horseracing, motor-car racing, boat-racing, dog racing and even racing for donkeys. But there is the most famous boat-racing between Oxford and Cambridge. It is rowed over a course on the river Thames and thousand of people go to watch it.

16. November – Thanksgiving Day (in the USA) There is family holiday. People gather to give thanks for all the good things in their lives. They make a big turkey dinner.
