6 Background Information EECBG Application On November 17, 2009, Council passed Resolution No. 09-070 authorizing staff to apply for an Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG). Staff submitted a completed application for a grant by the January 15 th, 2010 deadline to upgrade the lighting in the east garage.

7 Background Information EECBG Application SECO’s final allocation to Southlake is $86,365.

8 Background Information EECBG Application The City is required to have an executed contract by March 14, 2010. If awarded the EECBG, Southlake will upgrade the lighting in the east parking garage at a cost of $0. In the event the City is unable to procure a grant, the City reserves the right to terminate the contract with FSG.
