4 DRESS CODE FOR THE GRADUATION CEREMONY FEMALE ATTIRE All will wear a nice dress, top and long skirt (below the knee), or dressy pants outfit under the academic gowns. Avoid low-cut tops. No jeans or T-shirts of any kind will be allowed. Clothing with any pictures or wording will not be allowed. Low heeled shoes or flat shoes are suggested for safety reasons. No flip flops, house shoes (slippers), or athletic shoes will be allowed. MALE ATTIRE All will wear a dress shirt and dress pants. An appropriate tie is suggested. No jeans, shorts, or T-shirts of any type will be allowed. Hair should be neatly trimmed. Clothing with any pictures or wording will not be allowed. All will wear dress shoes with socks that coordinate with their attire. No athletic shoes, no flip flops, no sandals and no house shoes (slippers) will be allowed.

5 The tassel will be worn on the right side of the head and moved to the left after the graduates cross the stage.

6  Yelling, cheering and whistling are discouraged and severe violators will be removed by the graduation security team under the supervision of Mr. Ahmed Al Qadi. Please advise your friends and family of this rule.  No student will be allowed to participate in the ceremony until all graduation requirements are met. (Graduation Clearance Forms will be distributed to students on May 10 th. Clearances must be signed by the respective ICS Staff and Faculty Members before May 20, 2016).  All graduates will be required to be in the National Theater no later than 8:30am with full graduation attire for the final morning rehearsal (May 25), and at 5:30pm for the Graduation Ceremony. No one will be admitted to the line of march…. ?  There will be no bubbles, bells, beach balls, Frisbees, horns or other paraphernalia that will distract or disrupt the ceremony.  Students that have disruptive items may be removed from the line.  Caps with writing on them will be confiscated during the line-up and will not be returned.  All students will act in a dignified manner before, during, and after the ceremony. IMPORTANT (1)

7  All graduates who are inappropriately dressed will be sent home to change. There will be no exceptions.  Any toys, etc. will be confiscated. Students bringing these items will have their diplomas held.  Any students acting out, either on the stage or while on the graduation floor, will have their diplomas held. Diplomas that are withheld will not be released until July 1 st. NO EXCEPTIONS.  The audience must restrain from yelling and cheering and severe violators will be removed by the graduation security team under the supervision of Mr. Ahmed Al Qadi.  Cheering Horns Are Completely Forbidden  Party Poppers Are Completely Forbidden IMPORTANT ( 2 )

8 IMPORTANT ( 3 ) REHEARSALS : 1.10 th April at 2:45pm in the school’s gym (Partial Props) 2.17 th April at 2:45pm in the school’s gym (Partial Props) 3.24 th April at 2:45pm in the school’s gym (Partial Props) 4.12 th May at 2:45pm in the school’s gym (Full Props) 5.19 th May at 2:45pm in the school’s gym (Full Props) 6.25 th May from 9:00am to 1:00pm in the National Theater (Full Props) FINAL REMINDERS: 1.All graduates must remit to Ms. Nour their individual, creative and enthusiastic quotes (100-150 words) no later than 21st March 2016, along with a payment of 700 AED to the Accounts Department (200 AED refundable deposit for the Gown). 2.We remind you that the entrance to the ceremony is restricted to guests 12 years and older. 3.All related Media clips and written speeches to be prepared by students must be remitted to Ms. Nour no later than 11th April 2016.

9 VERY SOON 1.Every graduate will receive 5 graduation ceremony tickets. The cost of any additional ticket, if needed, will be 50 AED (maximum 3 additional tickets for every graduate). 2.The Graduation Ceremony tickets will be distributed to students on 25th April.
