5. Energy/Water Turn off equipment when not in use Turn off lights in empty rooms Remember to turn off taps No running water when cleaning your teeth Use water butts in the garden Lift sharing ~ save fuel Buy locally grown food to save fuel

7. Growing Grow flowers that help the wildlife like bees and butterflies. Without bees we cannot grow our own food like tomatoes. Grow our own food to save food travelling around the world Gardening club have planted seeds of sweet peppers, cucumbers, courgettes and pumpkins. We should see the vegetables when we return after the summer holidays. Everyone grew a tomato from seed and took the plant home. – How are they getting on? – Don’t forget to count the tomatoes you get from your plant and let us know. – Count the tomatoes you harvest over the summer holidays and put them on a little chart to bring back in September. – Photographs would be nice too
