8 Shared Ownership for the Elderly Options for 50% or 75% leasehold purchase.( maximum) Covenants within the lease restrict initial and future occupants to over 55’s and in need of receipt of support and care. Where 50% is chosen there is a rental charge in addition to a service charge, where 75% is chosen, there is no rent. A typical 2 bed charge is as follows: 50%£60,000 purchase plus£137.50 monthly rent plus £260 monthly service charge plus utility charge and SP charge 75%£90,000 purchase plus £260 monthly service charge plus utility charge and SP charge.

9 Maple Court- staffing structure Court Manager- Angela Till Core hours 9-5 Monday to Friday Housing management, property management and Housing related support First City Extra Care Team Based on site 24 hrs including night cover under taking domiciliary care tasks. Swindon Borough Council Providing day care services( by referral and assessment to 20 older persons. Working in partnership to provide a lunchtime meals service to residents and guests.

10 Resident Activities 285 hours per week for care services – ranging from prescription advice to full personal health care i.e. assisted bathing, medical needs Average age of residents is 75 -80 years Restaurant users are between 20 – 30 per day The day centre offer activities on a daily basis Evening activities include – quiz nights, cinema nights, bingo and board games Regular coffee mornings and Court Manager coffee mornings Hairdresser salon open two days a week for residents and the community
