2  A little bit about me.  I have been an art teacher for 33 years -23 here at Frankfort-Schuyler!  I am also a professional artist.

3  I also teach other art teachers….across New York and the United States! On the Road With Mrs. Shuster…….

4  My husband and I run a dairy farm.  I drive tractor and help with the hay..

5 I als0 make Jewelry!

6 I enjoy snowmobiling in the winter. Winter Fun!

7  I have certain things that I want you to do so that we all can have a fun art class.  They are called PROCEDURES…….

8  Check the Daily Procedure Board outside of my room.  They tell you what to do when you come into the room.

9  We enter quietly.  You may be directed to your seat or to the front of room by the Smart Board screen.

10  Be Safe  Be Respectful and Kind ▪ Be A Learner ▪ Be Your Best

12  I will count down – 5 - 4 - 3 - 2 - 1  On one you will be  like the Mona Lisa! Eyes on me. Mouths closed Hands still

13  We stay in our seat and focused on our work.  We raise our hands  if we have a question.  We use the two MOST IMPORTANT words:  “Please” and “Thank – you!”  We help others who may need it.

14  If you need to go to the bathroom, we use the buddy system.  Raise your hand and I will come to you.  You both will write your name on small white board.

15  If you need to go to the nurse, let me  know right away.  I will send two people with you and call Mrs. Costanza so she knows you are coming.

16  We have 5 minutes to quickly clean up  I will teach you how to put away art supplies, and how to collect your work at each table.  Each table is a team.( “here is no I in team….we all work together”)

17  Stop working and line up by door.  H.A.S…..mouths quiet. Follow me to the left….exit through blue doors. Walk in a line quickly, but quietly. When we can come back in, do so the same way you went out.

18  I will come to the quiet and  cleaned up tables first.  They will line up.  You will leave room when your teacher arrives.  Quiet, eyes front and hands by sides. We do not want to disturb the classes next to us.
