3 About Washington City, capital of the United States of America. The official name - DC, is an independent territory, not a member of any of the states. The city was founded in 1791 and named in honor of George Washington, the first US president.

4 WHITE HOUSE The White house is not only official "haven" of all U.S. Presidents, but also magnificent, improbable beauty the building which became sight and a symbol of America. The White house in "heart" of the city of Washington was located.

5 National Mall National Mall is a long park with monuments and fountains. In the center there is the Washington Monument - a powerful quadrilateral column, in which an elevator: you can rise by an observation deck and investigate streets with low buildings and lovely cafes.

6 Lincoln Memorial The memorial complex in memory of the 16th president of the United States was built in 1922. Externally Memorial (located on the National Mall) resembles a classic Greek temple with a colonnade.

7 National Gallery of Art Washington Gallery is one of the largest and most valuable collections of art in the world. It was the beginning of a collection assembled by the American banker, finance minister under several presidents Andrew W. Mellon.

8 Capitol The building of the US Congress is not only a place of work of the Senate and House of Representatives, but also a museum, which houses an impressive number of paintings, statues, murals, historical documents, rare photos and other interesting things.

9 Great Falls of the Potomac River Excellent natural attraction, where you can get a whole day is a chain of powerful waterfalls and rapids on the Potomac River, the noise which can be heard for miles around. 15 Club Black Cat This club was open when in the city the acute shortage of concert venues and night clubs was felt. The local musicians were the investors investing money in development of new club. Slant 6, Stereolab and Rancid were the first groups acting in "A black cat". Here arose the directions of fate, known as "India".

16 Ford's Theater Ford's Theater has long turned into a museum - are fully recreated interior of the 70s of the XIX century, you can see the very bed in which Lincoln was assassinated (the place where he sat, draped flags), and carefully examine the biography of one of the most popular presidents of the United States.

17 Verizon Center "Verizon center“ is the sports entertainment complex called in honor of the telecommunication sponsor of Verizon Communications.

18 I believe that Washington is a beautiful city. There are many attractions in it which I would visit and looked not virtually.
