2 DURING THE ABOVE PERIOD FOR EACH YEAR AND EACH QUARTER IN EACH YEAR MAXIMUM AND MINIMUM FREQUENCY OF A DAY WILL BE IDENTIFIED

3 SELECTION OF MINIMUM FREQUENCY DAY IN EACH QUARTER IN EACH QUARTER, ON HOURLY BASIS, THE AVERAGE FREQUENCY OF SR GRID WILL BE TABULATED. THE MINIMUM FREQENCY WILL BE SELECTED FROM THE ABOVE TABULATED VALUES. (PEAK HOURS i.e. 0600- 0900 HRS AND 1900 – 2200 HRS. ONLY – 90*6=540 VALUES) IN CASE OF MORE THAN ONE VALUES OF MINIMUM FREQUENCY, THE FIRST HOUR IN THE DAY IN THAT QUARTER ON WHICH IT OCCURS WILL BE SELECTED.

4 DATA REQUIREMENT AFTER SELECTION OF THE DAY ON WHICH MINIMUM FREQUENCY OCCURRED, THE DATA HAS TO BE COLLECTED FOR CARRYING OUT LOAD FLOW STUDIES.

5 SELECTION OF MAXIMUM FREQUENCY DAY IN EACH QUARTER IN EACH QUARTER, ON HOURLY BASIS, THE AVERAGE FREQUENCY OF SR GRID WILL BE TABULATED. THE MAXIMUM FREQENCY WILL BE SELECTED FROM THE ABOVE TABULATED VALUES. (OFFPEAK HOURS i.e. 0000- 0400 HRS AND 1200 – 1400 HRS ONLY) IN CASE OF MORE THAN ONE VALUES OF MAXIMUM FREQUENCY, THE FIRST HOUR IN THE DAY IN THAT QUARTER ON WHICH IT OCCURS WILL BE SELECTED.

6 DATA REQUIREMENT AFTER SELECTION OF THE DAY ON WHICH MAXIMUM FREQUENCY OCCURRED, THE DATA HAS TO BE COLLECTED FOR CARRYING OUT LOAD FLOW STUDIES.

18 IN SPECIAL TCC MEETING HELD ON 19.05.2005 AT BANGALORE HAS DECIDED THE FOLLOWING: SELECTION OF MAXIMUM FREQUENCY DAY IN EACH QUARTER SELECTION OF MNIIMUM FREQUENCY DAY IN EACH QUARTER TO CARRY OUT SYSTEM STUDIES, THE SRLDC PROPOSED DATA WILL BE COLLECTED BY STATES.

19 ON 24 th AND 25 th MAY 2005, THE STATES REPRESENTATIVES ARRIVED AT SRLDC, BANGALORE AND CARRIED OUT STUDIES TO FIND OUT MAXIMUM AND MINIMUM HOURLY AVERAGE FRFEQUENCY FOR EACH QUARTER FOR THE PERIOD 01-04- 1994 TO 31-10-1998 (19 SAMPLES FOR EACH CASE).

20 THE FORMATS OF DATA REQUIREMENT FROM EACH STATE REQUIRED TO CARRY OUT SYSTEM STUDIES WAS PREPARED BY SRLDC AND SENT TO ALL STATES ON 01 st JUNE 2005. THE FILED DATA FORMATS WERE RECEIVED BY SRLDC AS FOLLOWS KSEB18.06.05 TNEB27.07.05 APTRANSCO09.08.05 KPTCL17.08.05
