How do you post on Edmodo? 3. How do you turn in assignment on Edmodo? If you are finished today- Work on clay of your choice or open stamp power point- draw/ make stamps.

4 Objective: You will analyze process steps in order to create glaze samples. Today- You will begin 2 glaze samples, then finish pinch pot pods. Get the supplies listed on the right.  SUPPLIES YOU NEED: 1.Rolling pin 2.Clay 3.Stamp 4.Stylus 5.2 glazes (for their name) SUPPLIES YOU NEED: 1.Rolling pin 2.Clay 3.Stamp 4.Stylus 5.2 glazes (for their name)

5 25pts a quarter. Starts as a zero. Gain points by helping. 5 pts a time that you help. Pull out supplies/ clay. Put them away. 50pts for your clean up. Starts at 50. Points deducted if table is messy or supplies are left out.

6 1. Roll a slab. 2. Cut out 2+ rectangles- 4+ inches 3. Write 1,2,3, 4. Then stamp 4 stamps. Hole for string. 4. Write glaze name on back. 5. Write your name on back. 6. Sit it out to dry over weekend. 7. We will glaze on Wed.

11 1. Combine two pinch pots. 2. Cut out a part/ cut them apart. 3. Use addition process to add clay to basic form- sculptural elements, handles, etc… 4. Use subtraction process- carve out holes, draw on clay, relief carve, carve to shape, add texture. 5. Create smooth clay- nothing jagged or it will be sharp.

15 1.Click on Posts on left side of screen. 2.Click the plus sign on right side of screen. 3.Select a recipient. 4.Write something. 5.Attach photo from backpack or camera. 6.Attach more photos if necessary. 7.Press “POST”.

16 Click on notifications on right corner. OR *Scroll down to find the assignment. Click on the assignment. Click “TURN IN” When you are turning in an assignment, attach each photo with it. Miss Gauger will grade from the photographs. Grades will be on BCPSone. Click SUBMIT. You can edit it later. 4

32 A pinch pot is create by pinching your thumb in the middle of a sphere of clay to create a small cup shape.

48 Get a cut of water. Use a your fingers to work the water into the clay. This is messy. Just wash your hands when finished.
