Help and compassion is natural and does not require much effort. For a start, we can do casual good : it is very simple … buy cat food and feed the kitten. (Cat’s “Whiskas” costs cheaper than cookies for pupils at school canteen.)

Volunteering in Russia As the world's biggest country, everything about Russia seems larger than life. The country covers more than one eighth of the Earth's inhabited land area and spans nine time zones - creating a diverse range of environments, people, and culture. Russia also has the world's largest reserves of mineral and energy resources and its lakes contain about one quarter of the world's fresh water. http://volunteerspb.ru/ for those who want to do good in St. Petersburg Similarly, there is a huge need for volunteers in Russia. Since its gradual transition to capitalism, Russia has been facing a wide array of problems that the government has not fully addressed. Volunteers can provide help in areas such as environmental work, cultural exchange, social care, education, and many more. With all the aid you could be giving, it is clearly time for you to rush to Russia.

You’ll get to know many Russian people that are kind and hospitable. And you’ll open for yourself the Russia you don’t know, which is very beautiful and rich in its traditions, history and culture. Every day you’ll see true love and gratitude to you for your help in children’s eyes and you’ll be able to feel how you are changing this world for the better and how you are changing for the better with it yourself. * *Thank you

 What have I done in the past that I’ve enjoyed?  What do I want to do as a volunteer — and what would I rule out doing?  How much time can I commit?  What talents or skills can I offer?  What kinds of people do I want to work with?  What would I most like to learn by volunteering? To get the most out of your experience, ask yourself these questions before you get involved with an organization:

is a team of 600 kind young people. Our goal is a community of caring not indifferent people. And we hope we can do it! We can offer everybody a good work to apply their preferences and abilities. Our presentation has little time and I can’t tell you about all kinds of our activities in details.

Our volunteers take care of lonely senior citizens, help orphans to do their homework, organize meetings for young people to prevent bad habits and help homeless animals. We constantly gather food and other goods for homeless shelters, take for a walk homeless cat and dogs, clean their cages. Our group has a unique Family Values Project. We organize thematic parties, coaching, viewing movies, interactive motions and celebrations. We have a lot of partners, we cooperate with state, non-business, and public organizations. founded in 2013 by Maria Okhonskaya

Our success was highlighted at different levels. In 2013 (a year of creation) we became “The most-most” in the nomination “Volunteering" in St. Petersburg. In 2014 and 2015 we won in the most prestigious competition “Effective Volunteering”. This year we opened our own office “in unison “.

We are proud of our success but the most significant thing for us is the ability to help the people in difficult situations, improve their life. And it is very important to give Teens the opportunity to realize their ambitions by volunteer work.
