2. Welcome to St. Peter! As Christians we find rest in Jesus alone. From the beginning of time, God provided rest for his creation. He blessed the seventh day and set it apart, that man might learn to find his rest in God alone. In Jesus, Christians find rest from our burdens, rest from our battles, and rest forever in heaven.

3. Welcome to St. Peter! There are friendship registers at the end of each pew. Please take a moment to give us your information so that we have a record of your time with us today. Thank you!

6. Prayer before Worship Lord Jesus, you can look deep into my heart. You know how much I struggle with my sinful nature. You know the burden of guilt that I struggle to carry. At your gracious invitation, I come to you for rest and peace through the gift of forgiveness for the wrong things I’ve done and for the good that I have failed to do. Accept my worship and praise! Amen.

8. OUR COMMUNION PRACTICE In the Sacrament of Holy Communion, Jesus gives us his true body and blood. We express unity with our Savior and those who share our faith and stand on the teachings of God’s Word. Therefore, we invite to our altar those who are members of our church or the WELS. Visitors and guests who wish to commune are asked to speak to a pastor before the service begins.

9. Church Kitchen Cleaning Ladies’ Aid is looking for help with spring cleaning in the kitchen area. If you are able to help with this much needed task, there is a check-off list of jobs along with cleaning supplies on the kitchen counter

We would love to have musicians play at the Outdoor Worship Service on Sunday, August 21 st at 9:45 a.m. If interested join us for rehearsals after church on Thursdays, August 11 and August 18. Service Opportunities At Key To Life  Volunteer need to assist in the office by answering the phone, taking messages, filing, etc.  The preference is for someone to help on Wednesdays from 9:00 – 1:00 pm or so, but we’re flexible.  Please speak to Pam if you are interested.
