2 Why This Topic? This is a widely debated topic Video games are a popular source of entertainment in today’s society I love to play video games

3 What Counts as a violent video game? The video game ratings are determined by the Entertainment Software Ratings Board (ESRB) which rates games as EC for early childhood, E for everyone, E10+ for ages 10 and over, T for Teen, M for Mature, and A for Adults only. Researchers define a game as being violent if a character in the game displays realistic or cartoonish aggressive behavior towards another character.
