2 Dual Enrollment  The following programs have been consolidated:  MOWR (old)  Accel  HOPE Grant  Changes to existing programs:  Students don’t have to attend full time.  Students may now take CTAE/electives.  Students may graduate high school using college courses.

3 {  GSFC pays  For public colleges, students are funded up to 15 hours (tuition)  Only fees must be paid that are charged to all students  Textbooks are INCLUDED! Much more user-friendly! Funding

4 Student Requirements to Participate  No residence or citizenship requirement  Test scores/GPA still apply!  Parent must provide written consent to the high school.  Fill out online application, as well as college application.  Must meet applicable dates/deadlines! No late applicants!

5 {{ Benefits  Most fees waived  Great way to get 2 “free” years of college!  Students may graduate with a technical or associate’s degree at same time as hs diploma! Drawbacks  Students who don’t do well in college MUST return to the high school.  In this case, high school graduation may be delayed! The Pros and Cons
