A Word About OSAP… __________________________________________________________________________________________ The 2016/2017 application is expected to be available late spring Reminders – Signature pages* – Master Student Financial Assistance Agreement (MSFAA)* – Funding Redirection Note: Read the application carefully!

5. Not Taking a Gov’t Loan on Exchange? __________________________________________________________________________________________ If you have previously received government student loans, but are not applying for, or receiving them while on exchange, you must keep your loans in good standing You must notify the National Student Loan Service Centre that you are a full time student Failure to notify the NSLSC of your registration means you will enter repayment while you are on exchange

6. Carleton Scholarships _______________________________________________________________________________ Carleton’s renewable, and in-course scholarships, if earned, will be paid out in two installments as if you were a non- exchange student In order to renew your entrance scholarship for the year after exchange, you must successfully transfer credits from your exchange to Carleton – Equivalent of 4.0 credits If you attend Carleton this summer and/or fall, you will need to ensure that your GPA is above 10* – NO GRADES ARE SET ASIDE! NOTE: You will not be assessed for a general in-course scholarships in the year following exchange as we do not have access to your exchange term grades

Carleton Bursaries _______________________________________________________________________________ 1.Login to Carleton Central  Awards & Financial Aid “Filing Cabinet”  Online Undergraduate Applications  Fall 2016/2017 2.Complete the Checklist Items 3.Complete and Submit your application before June 30 th  if you miss the deadline, you can apply for the Current and Returning Student Bursary in September. 4.Await a Decision  Notification of decision by end of July **Recipients are selected based on financial need Other: Monitor Carleton email for reminders & information
