6. Model Narratives In order to write a fictional narrative, it helps us to have good models for various techniques. We have read an excellent model – the long, short story, “When Mr. Pirzada...” We will also read a poem and the story “The Grasshopper and the Bell Cricket” by Y. Kawabata.
