8 A Sample Answer One Christian teaching about judgement is that you need to believe in Jesus and follow his teachings in order to be able to enter heaven, this is how God will judge you. This is demonstrated through the Parable of the Sheep and the Goats. In the Parable, those who have helped the poor, sick and visited people in prison will be allowed to enter heaven as by doing this they have also shown their love for Jesus, they are the sheep in the story. The goats are those who have not followed Jesus’ teachings on helping the poor and will be separated from God in hell. God therefore judges us on our actions and faith in Jesus. Another Christian teaching is that God will judge us and depending on our judgement will send us either to heaven or hell. If we are sent to heaven this means that we will have eternal life with God in a place of peace and happiness. If we are sent to hell this means we will be eternally separated from God, and some would argue we will live in eternal suffering.
