3 Background The years 1750-1900 are known as the Industrial Revolution. It was a period of great change. See if you can work out what some of these changes were from looking at the following pictures.

13 Reaching conclusions: Did Birmingham change for the better or for the worse? On the one hand many of the changes were for the better. For example... This was an improvement because...
