17 Special Regulation for EUG 2016 Handball The half-time break will be 10 minutes. If a game is tied at the end of the regular playing time in the placement matches for the position 1 till 4, will be used only one overtime (2x 5 minutes) and then, if necessary, a winner will be determined by using 7-meter-throws according the Rule 2:2. If a game is tied at the end of the regular playing time in the placement matches for the position 5 till 8 a winner will be determined immediately by using 7-meter-throws according the Rule 2:2. The disqualification with report of player or team official (blue card) will be automatically connected (without disciplinary procedure) with disqualification for the next following match.

18 PRELIMINARY ROUND RANKING CRITERIA The ranking of teams in the group after all matches is determined on the total number of points gained. If two or more teams have gained the same number of points after the group matches have been completed, classification is decided as follows: - Results in points between the teams concerned. - Goal differences in the matches between the teams concerned. - Greater number of plus goals in the matches between the teams concerned. If classification still is not possible, a draw shall decide. The FISU representative on site shall execute the draw, if possible in the presence of the ‘responsible team officials’. If the ‘responsible team official’ cannot be present, other co- workers selected by the FISU shall take part. EVENT INFO (1)

24 General secretariat This is the information point for all participants. 25 Hotel rules Be always appropriately dressed in the hotels. Respect the hotels' staff and their indications. Don’t take food out of the dinning room. Don't jump in the swimming pool, and respect the other people using it. If the rooms are not tidy, the cleaning staff will not be able to do their job. It’s not allowed to keep food and drinks into the rooms. If the Hotel Staff finds some food or drinks during the cleaning of the rooms, the direction could decide to expel the owners from the hotel.

26 Opening ceremony The participation of all the teams is mandatory for this ceremony. The OC ask the teams to be punctual for the transportation to the Fernando Argüelles Hall from the Antequera Hotel and to be patient during the preparation of the march pass. Teams are also asked to respect the dressing code, so all the members of the delegation must wear their team clothing. Special transportation schedule for the ceremony will be published at the information board (located in the hotel entrance)

29 Opening ceremony There will be a meeting point for the teams outside the Fernando Argüelles Hall to organize the march pass. An athlete will bring the flag of his country during the march pass, after the sign with the name of his country carried by a volunteer. After the speeches, teams will be invited to see the opening game between Spain and Chinese Taipei There will be special dinning schedule this day.

30 Official Reception Dinner It will take place on Wednesday June 29 th at La Magdalena Hotel. A representative of each team is invited to attend this ceremony. Please confirm your attendance before Tuesday 28 th at the General Secretariat to let the organization arrange the needed transportation.

31 Trainings Training is not pre-assigned so reservation is needed with a minimum of 24h. The reservation can be done at the General Secretariat. If you wish to cancel a reserved session, you must do it at least 2 hours before the training time. If any of the teams doesn’t show up for an appointed training session without a valid justification, it will automatically loose the right to reserve further trainings.

32 Transportation There will be two kind of transportation: Shuttle buses, for the general transportation of participants to the sport halls to see the games: Usually they’ll be available every half an hour Competitors buses, reserved just for the teams that are about to play: They’ll pick teams up 1:30 hours before the match. Both schedules will be published daily in the information board and delivered to the teams.

33 Arrival to the Sport Halls At your arrival to the sport halls, ask for the Hall Manager: He will deliver you the changing room key and the water for the game. He’s the person in charge of the hall, so ask him any doubt you may have. Keep the changing rooms clean. Don’t forget to give the key back to the Hall Manager.
