2 Founded in 2009 A master degree in Biology aimed to provide: - a strong laboratory training - a window on research in biomedical sciences - interdisciplinarity and specialization 120 ECTS, S1-S4 Lectures: three semesters Laboratory experience: one semester From academic year 2014-2015, will be entirely taught in English.

3 Objectives To provide students with an in-depth knowledge concerning molecular and cellular biology, and the know how in applied biological sciences, such as biotechnology, biomedicine and neuroscience Career opportunities - Graduates will be able to actively participate in research projects focused on basic and applied cellular and molecular biological sciences, and to work in clinical diagnostic laboratories, in pharmaceutical industries, in the promotion of scientific innovation, in the design and management of molecular and cellular technologies - PhD programmes - Medical Specialty Schools (Clinical Biochemistry, Clinical Pathology, Genetics, Microbiology and Virology)

8 Admission requirements -BSc. from Schools of Biology, Biotechnology, Veterinary, and Medicine -Applicants will be requested to pass an admission test in order to asses their background in biochemistry, genetics, molecular biology, cell biology, microbiology, and physiology -Basic knowledge of English language
