12 1. Vomiting-Normal if spits 2-3 times, small quantity. -Up right position,Burping,anti emetic drops 2.Constpation- Up to 7 days normal. -Can give glucose water. 3.Diarrhea- What is normal. -If exclusive breast feed- Reassurance

13  See the Quantity,Frequency,Color,Smell. 4.-Jaundice- Abnormal if in first 24 hrs. -Mild yellowish-sclera-normal. -Consult immediately when in doubt. 5.Hiccough,Sneezing,Yawning- Normal, Physiological. 6.Dehydration fever-More in summer. -Frequent feeding, no excess wrapping. 7.Superficial infections-Conjunctivitis -Pustules -Umbilical sepsis

14 8.Excess crying-Mostly due to colic. 9.Evening colic-Cuddling,kissing,taking to a drive,patting,prone positioning. -Anti spasmodic drops, Application of Hing,ajwaine to umbilical area. 10.Breath holding spells 11.Choking episode 12.Excess sleepiness.
