Rear Cover Assembly The Toodle comes with the rear cover assembled. Normally, there is no need to open the rear cover. In case the rear bearing is stuck inside the Toodle housing during Tool Assembly removal, it is essential to disassemble the rear cover in order to properly remove it. Also, after long storage of the Toodle, it is recommended to remove the rear cover, inspect the O-Ring and clean all Toodle parts before further use.

Remove the tool holder from the machine, and place the tool holder with Toodle in the tool holder clamping device.

Remove the Toodle from the tool holder. 1. Release screw - CCW 2. Remove Toodle

Screw the rear cover CCW using a suitable tool (as snap rings pliers), and remove from housing. Screw the rear cover CCW

Lightly knock the rear bearing out of the housing using a screw driver if needed.

Examine the rear cover O-Ring seal. Change the O-Ring as necessary.

Thoroughly clean all Toodle parts and remove any corrosion marks.

Place the rear cover back into the Toodle housing, and

Screw the rear cover CW using a suitable tool (as snap rings pliers). Manual torque 5 to 10 Nm is sufficient. Torque=5 to 10 [Nm] Holes diameter = 2 [mm] CW
