2. CRISIS DESCRIPTION Crisis is similar to GA but events occur that either benefit or hinder plans. There are four types of power: Directives, Portfolio Powers, Communiqués, and Press Releases Has a branch for the committee called crisis staff

4. PORTFOLIO POWERS Powers specific to the character you portray They are one to two sentences long Require your character’s name Write “Portfolio Power” on the top of paper

5. COMMUNIQUÉ A formal letter to another organization or individual Must write the sender and the recipient of the Communiqué Write “Communiqué” at the top of the paper

6. PRESS RELEASE A statement to the press of a specific country or organization Must state who is saying the press release and who is receiving it Write “Press Release” at the top of the paper

7. NOTES Notes are private messages that are sent to another delegation or the chair Include the name of the sender and the name of the recipient. Hold it in the air and let a paige transfer it or get another delegation to pass it Paige-person who is responsible for getting working papers from copy place and the passing of notes.
