29 SETTING THE STANDARD Lesson Demonstration: The structure of our Parent Workshop mirrored the typical structure of an Everyday Math Lesson Lessons begin with a “Math Minute” to introduce, review, or preview lesson objectives The teacher then has a whole-group lesson Students will have the opportunity to work in pairs or small groups to practice concepts from lesson Teacher monitors and assists, then has a whole- group review Students have a final opportunity to reflect on the lesson
