About the Author Agatha Christie  Agatha Mary Clarissa Miller was born 15 th of September, 1890.  Agatha is one of the most famous murder-mystery writers in history.  Her pen name is Mary Westmacott.  She has written novels, plays, and even short stories.  The book, And Then There Were None, has over 1 million copies in print today!  But her fame had to come to an end; she die on January 12 th, 1976.

The Start… In the 1900’s, 10 mysterious people were invited to an island off the coast of Sticklehaven. They thought it was a free vacation, so the they took advantage of it. No one knew each other and knew why they had been chosen. When all of the people arrive at the island, they are dinning together when a mysterious voice comes on announcing the crimes that everyone there had committed. Suddenly, everyone when into a panic. “I didn’t do it!” they would say. Later that night, they had a party. They talked about how each room had a poem about 10 little Indian boys and how there were 10 indian figures on the dinning room table. Almost everyone decided to confess of their accidental murder. After, a character named Tony had a drink and choked. He gasped for air. Someone exclaimed, “He’s dead!” Everybody in the room turned ice cold. They decide to look at the ten little indian figures. It turns out one was missing.

The Climax… Later in the story, people are dying. After the second death, they think there is a murderer on the island. More and more people are dying and each indian figure is disappearing. Soon there is only half of the visitors left on the island and they come to the conclusion that the killer is one of the guests. Every one becomes very suspicious of one another. The rest of the guests are locking their doors and shutting their windows.

The Resolution… Two people at the end of the story decide and agree that neither of them are the killer. They decide to team up and play it cool. Soon they realize that the third to last victim is dead. The two last characters looked at each other. Each of them cried out, “You’re the killer!” The women character sees that the man has a revolver. So she suggests that they out of respect put the other dead, drowned body on to the shore. The women tricks him by pulling the gun from him and shooting. “Its over!” she cried. But that’s what she thinks.

The twist… When the women walks back into the house, she sees a noose hanging from a lamp. She feels scared, yet brave at the same time. She thinks that she will be accused of the other murders. She also thinks she hears a voice calling for her to kill her self. She suddenly grabs a chair. She ties the noose upon her neck. “The time has come.” she whispered. She kicked the chair away. Seconds later, you can hear a laughter from someone. It turns out that it was actually the fifth victim who didn’t actually die. He faked his death and killed everyone from poisoning to stabbing. He laughed his cruel laugh again and shot himself dead.
