1. “Information Day” about New Vocational Education in Greece. 1 1 st EPAL of Trikala

2. AIM of this event The general aim was to inform students of Grade A’ about New Vocational Education. 2 1 st EPAL of Trikala

3. This event was held in the 1 st EPAL of Trikala by the Headmaster and the teaching force of the school in accordance with Leonardo Partnership “EVTUM” and was called “Information Day about New Vocational School” 3 1 st EPAL of Trikala

4. 4 It took place on October 15 th in collaboration with: Mrs Evagelia Iakovaki who is in charge of The Advisory and Professional Orientation Centre in Trikala and Mr Antonios Blioumis, scientific advisor of Mechanical Engineering teachers in Thessaly.

5. 5 More specifically, Mrs Iakovaki talked about the new Vocational School and the structure of the New Technical and Vocational Education as well as the specialties it includes. Afterwards, Mr Blioumis talked about the professional rights students are to acquire when they leave Vocational High Education at length.

To make the students familiar with this new type of school To help them throughout their professional orientation To present the New Technical, Vocational Education as a creative and effective solution so that they are prepared in a better way to “enter” the labour/job market. 6 The main Objectives of this event (1)
