2. Critique A critique is an in-depth evaluation of something or someone. An example of a critique would be a newspaper article that evaluates a painting.

3. Opinion An opinion is what someone or a group thinks about something. An example of an opinion that I think the Dodgers are the best team on earth.

4. generalization Generalization is the act or process of generalizing; to give a general form to. Ex. All parents try to make life difficult for their children.

5. organizational pattern Organizational Patterns are structures of persuasive arguments. Ex. Spatial, Order of Importance, and Chronological.

6. Substantiated Definition: to provide evidence to support or prove the truth. Example: Millions of years ago there were dinosaurs. This is a substantiated statement because there is evidence of fossils to support this.

7. Unsubstantiated Definition: Not supported or proven by evidence Example: Vehicles were roaming around during the dinosaur times. The statement above is a unsubstantiated example because there isn't any proof of motorized vehicles existing in the prehistoric times.

8. The common Factor All of terms can be used in an inductive, persuasive, argument in which reasoning is used as strong evidence from one point to another.
