4. Vegetation *Plants have to be able to store water. *Most plants have long roots that spread out to capture as much water as possible *Not enough water to support trees *Many cactus and other low to the ground plants

5. Animal Life By: Russell Bradley Animals that live there have to live with a little bit of water They have to hunt to for their food. Most hunt at night when it is cool. Most animals do not move around much in the hot part of the day.
