2 Consciousness Consciousness is the ability to perceive the relationship between oneself and one's environment. It is a subject of much research in philosophy of mind, psychology, neuroscience, and cognitive science.

3 Consciousness Phenomenal consciousness is experience itself "I am conscious." Access consciousness is the processing of the things in experience "I am conscious of these words."

11 My Envisioned Thesis Problem develop a computational model for the corpus callosumThe purpose of this envisioned thesis is to develop a computational model for the corpus callosum, using the currently available neuro-anatomical data and simplify it to a minimal level that by eliminating each part it can exhibit the phenomenal consciousness deficits that is seen in split brain patients. In the ideal condition we can do the surgery on mice or monkeys and investigate the effects on Access consciousness in depth.
