25 LCSC06 |Bioscience OTHER REASONS FOR STUDYING THE BIOSCIENCES OTHER REASONS FOR STUDYING THE BIOSCIENCES MULTI-PROFESSIONAL TEAMS SLTs work in MULTI-PROFESSIONAL TEAMS and hence with a large number of other health professionals: a shared understanding of the biosciences and medical aspects enhances the qualify of the team work ACCESS TO INFORMATION Easy ACCESS TO INFORMATION means that clients can be very knowledgeable about their own conditions MEDICAL FRAMEWORK SLTs can work within a MEDICAL FRAMEWORK (as opposed to an educational framework)
