Einstein published more than 300 scientific papers along with over 150 non-scientific works, and received honorary doctorate degrees in science, medicine and philosophy from many European and American universities.

By 1908, he was recognized as a leading scientist, and he was appointed lecturer at the University of Berne. In 1921, Einstein was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics. In 1911, he had calculated that, based on his new theory of general relativity, light from another star would be bent by the Sun's gravity.

 A. Fleming discovered penicillin in 1928. In his laboratory. The discovery of penicillin was quite accidental. It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream. I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: 'We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal. I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood. I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.

Ivan Pavlov created the first empirical model of associationism, integrated traditions of reflexology, recognized significance of physic secretion, defined modern concepts of conditioning.

 He studied the conditioned reflexes in dogs. One of his experiments was to repeatedly ring the bell and feed the dog. Then he rang the bell and watched the beginning of salivation. In this way he provided an impact of conditioned reflexes. Pavlov also studied repression of this impact of ringing the bell but giving no food. As a result the dogs considered the bell to be the wrong stimulus and repressed the response.  In 1904 he received a Nobel Prize for physiological and medical research and the centrifugal nerves of the heart.  Pavlov was the first Russian to receive the Nobel Peace Prize
