4 www.england.nhs.uk Over three million carers in the UK combine work with their caring responsibilities, including over two million who are working full-time.11 It can often be extremely difficult to juggle these responsibilities. When there is a lack of support to help with caring at home or a lack of understanding and flexibility at work, it can lead to stress and anxiety, absence, tiredness, isolation and loneliness (State of Caring 2015)

6 IDEAL – We welcome applications from young adult carers aged 16- 24 years, who are seeking a development opportunity and looking to be involved in developing future policies for carers. REALITY – Title - Young Carers Administrator Responsible for - Support the Commitment to Carer Programme Project Co-ordinator, Head of Patient Experience and their team to ensure that work stream of programmes are planned and managed effectively
