3 notes Uniform must be free of wrinkles and appropriately fitting Name badge must be present at all times so that you can be identifiable. No stickers or alterations to badges allowed. Shoes must be flat and close toes. No crocs. To protect you from bodily fluids and needles/sharps Jewelry-must be kept at a minimum or non at all. Could injure yourself, the patient, and harbors microbes/germs Hair needs to be back and clean Make-up needs to be professional/minimum Nails no fake nails, no chipped nail polish, short cut clean nails

Required annually Discretion-use of good judgment. confidentiality Acceptance of criticism-will receive this from patients and their families, other coworkers etc. important not to become resentful but to learn from it Enthusiasm-enjoy going to work and displaying a positive attitude Self Motivation-the ability to begin or to follow through, be able to determine what needs to be done without having to be told

6 Patience- must be tolerant and understanding control temper, and deal with frustrations Competence-being qualified and capable of preforming a task. Knowing ones limits Team player Tact-having the ability to say or do the kindest or most fitting thing in a difficult situation. Consideration for other’s feelings. Requires practice. Doesn’t come naturally Responsibility-being willing to be held accountable for actions.
