Famous places in Poland: Cracow ▪ Krakow is one of the most visited cities in Poland. ▪ There are numerous historical monuments, good hotels, restaurants and recreational opportunities. ▪ The most significant sites (and the symbols of Krakow) are: the Wawel Castle, main Market Square with Barbican, the Sukiennice Cloth Hall and St. Mary's Basilica, Kazimierz. Krakow's historic center is also on the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

6. Famous Polish people: Agnieszka Radwanska ▪ Agnieszka Radwanska is a famous tennis player from Poland. ▪ She was born on 6th March in 1989 in Krakow. ▪ She is known for constructing points and making intelligent use of the court, she has won fifteen career singles titles.

Famous Polish people: Robert Lewandowski ▪ Robert Lewandowski (born 21 August 1988) is a Polish professional footballer who plays as a striker for Bayern Munich and captains the Poland national team. ▪ Lewandowski has earned 70 caps and was a member of their team at Euro 2012. ▪ With 29 goals, he ranks sixth among their top scorers of all time.

8. Famous Polish people: Tom Swoon ▪ Tom Swoon is the most popular Polish DJ. ▪ He does literally every kind of electronic music. ▪ His real name is Dorian Tomasiak. ▪ He was born 6 th of June 1993, in Goleniow. ▪ He did a lot of tracks with popular DJ’s and bands like Linkin Park.

9. Our city: Łódź ▪ Łódź is the third-largest city in Poland ▪ It is located in the central part of the country ▪ The city's coat of arms is an example of canting: depicting a boat. It alludes to the city's name which translates literally as "boat".

10. Famous places in Łódź: Piotrkowska Street ▪ Piotrkowska St. is the main artery of Łódź, Poland, is one of the longest commercial thoroughfares in Europe, with a length of 4.9 km. It is one of the major tourist attractions of the city.

11. Famous places in Łódź: Manufaktura ▪ This is one of the biggest shopping centers in Europe. ▪ It used to be a factory.

12. Our district: Sikawa ▪ Sikawa it is in the eastern part of the Łódź. ▪ At the end of the 15th century there was a village, which after the second world war was included in the boards of the city of Łódź as one of the settlements.

13. Our school There are 5 classes in our school. We learn in 8 classrooms and 2 gyms. There is a small pond next to our playing field. We share the building with a kindergarten. The school was renovated this year.
