14. Masaccio rediscovered the concept of perspective. His fresco paintings have the illusion of depth. Masaccio is considered the father of modern painting.

15. Michelangelo glorified the human body in his David, painted the Sistine Chapel, and designed the dome of St. Peter’s in Rome.
