5 Who are we? A private and independent think tank founded in 2012 focusing on regional strategic changes in the Middle East. A regional think tank based in Cairo dedicated to promoting transitions towards democracy and stability in the region; through interactions with policymakers, influential circles, and partner organizations. Supporting a wide range of policymakers, researchers and business communities in understanding the changing Middle East through: Political and Economic Assessments (policy oriented Strategic Assessments) Academic Researches Consulting

6 Vision The wave of transformation throughout region since late 2010 and early 2011 will have a far-reaching impact on the domestic conditions, regional relations and the very contours of the Middle East. The RCSS comprehensively monitors events and trends, and provides grounded and rigorous academic analysis and evaluations as well as, a forum for extensive interaction with academic partners and research- oriented civil society and governmental organizations throughout the region in addition to policy makers and other regional actors.

7 Mission New approaches to studying the region and its interactions and to promote new ideas and policies to secure a prosperous future and to achieve peaceful transitions towards democracy, justice and liberty. Interactive academic and consultative activities which include daily monitoring of events and trends, developing updated strategic assessments, and publishing periodicals and studies on regional trends and debates Working with regional partners in conducting polls in various countries, working on long-term projects, and organizing workshops and regional conferences in various capitals.
