3. Math Policies Homework – most nights for Math 6 and Accelerated Math 6 Homework is 25% of the grade. Tests – Quizzes every other week and Performance Tasks as scheduled be the Math department Tests are 75% of the grade.

4. Math Textbook The textbook we are using is Big Ideas Math. The website that supports the book is https://ca.bigideasmath.com/students/https://ca.bigideasmath.com/students/ Each student has a log-in but they can access the book pages without their log in. 8. Science Policies Homework and class work will be 50% of the grade. Tests, quizzes and projects will be 50% of the grade. Extra Credit will be worth an additional 2%. This is only available to students who have turned in everything. Late work will be given a deduction in points.

11. Science Curriculum Unit 1 – Earth Systems and Processes Unit 2 – Plate Tectonics and Earth’s Structure Unit 3 – Weather and Climate Unit 4 – Ecology and Resources

12. SMUSD Cloud We will do many assignments on the SMUSD Cloud. This is a controlled, self contained website and the students will be turning in projects like high school and college students are expected to do. Google Docs, Google Draw, Google Slides, and more applications will be used extensively for this type of group work.

13. One to One This is the second year that my students will participate in the one to one program within the San Marcos Unified School District. The computer cart has been supplied due to this program. The students will have much more exploration to learn rather than relying on textbook information.
