1 Conco Business Presentation Conco Safety & Injury Reporting Procedures & Employee Satisfaction

2 Problem Statement The current safety & injury reporting procedures at Conco have come into question and proper reporting protocol is not being utilized my members of management. This is in turn effecting employee satisfaction, morale and causing a higher than nominal rate of turnover.

3 Working Toward A Solution Conducting research and utilizing the opinion of the employee’s themselves will give the company a view of the bigger picture. The best measurement tool to utilize in this situation is the satisfaction survey. Conco employee’s themselves will provide the most accurate and factual point of view of the company and the current procedures.

4 Collecting The Data After the data is collected by utilizing the survey tool it will be analyzed according to a numeric scale. A numeric value will be set for each possible answer.

5 Data Analysis Analyzing the data according to the numeric scale that has been put in place prior to the survey will yield both factual and accurate data.

6 Working Toward A Solution Together Once the data has been collected and translated into what the respondents feel is wrong at Conco and how they feel we can change it working together there can be an acceptable solution to this issue.

7 The Solution The solution to the problem will consist of new management training on both safety and injury reporting procedures and a refresher course on a federal laws and state regulations. Updating the current safety policies in place at Conco.

8 New Reward Program The current reward system is old and needs to be updated and show the employee their true value to the company. The new reward system would improve employee morale tremendously.

9 Reviewing The Changes After the changes have been made and new programs implemented following up with the employee’s once again will tell if they are more satisfied with Conco and the new policies and procedures as well as the new reward program. Happy employee’s are more productive and more positive!
