1 This trip has been organised by STS who have been running successful school trips for over 75 years STS is a member of ABTA and holds an ATOL license. Therefore all monies paid are fully financially protected. STS is a member Learning Outside the Classroom and the School Travel Forum who have strict policies on safety and best practice. Battlefield Trip 2014

2 What should have already happened? -Permission slip handed to finance with payment. -Full payment of trip to Finance -£294. -Medical Form completed and handed into History Department. -Dietary requirements completed on medical form. If you are yet to complete a form OR need to make changes to your child’s medical form than this can be done at the end of the session.

3 Battlefield Trip 2014 Necessary Documents -Passport dated within 6 months -Visa (if required) -Medical Certificate -EHIC (European Health Insurance Card) http://www.nhs.uk/NHSEngland/Healthcareabroad /EHIC/Pages/about-the-ehic.aspx The EHCI covers your child for medical treatment abroad. It is completely free and should arrive within 7 days of application.

4 Battlefield Trip 2014 Monday 16 th June 2014 6.15 The coach will pick up students from the bus park at OGA. Please arrive within 15 minutes of departure so that luggage can be placed upon the coach. Please provide your child with a pack lunch and snacks for the journey. The coach will stop for breaks so a small amount of ‘English money’ could be taken for the trip to and from Folkston. 12.15Folkston –Eurotunnel Check In 14.55Arrive in Calais 16.00Arrive at accommodation 19.30Bowling at Atlantis – we have booked to play two sessions at 4 Euros per game. This is the only aspect of the trip that is yet to be paid for. Please make sure that your child has money to play if they wish (it is optional). Thursday 19 th June 2014 10.00 Talbot House 11.30Return to Calais 12.15-14.00Cite Europe Shopping Centre 15.20Folkston-Eurotunnel 21.15Return to school. An adult needs to be present to pick up your child.
