2  For most of the life of the cell, chromosomes are too elongated and tenuous to be seen under a microscope.  Before a cell divides, the chromosome duplicates.  Chromosomes aren’t visible, not even by using a microscope.  Can affect the health of a person depending on the number of chromosomes, too many or two few can cause a problem in the human body. Here is some additional information about the chromosomes.

3  The chromosomes are long, slender rods of DNA. They are made of DNA and hold all the genetic material.

4 Location of Chromosomes o Chromosomes are located in the nucleus of a eukaryote cell. o Chromosomes are attached to the plasmid membrane.

5 o Chromosomes hold all the genetic information. o Everything included in the cell is needed in order to survive. o DNA exceeds the size of the cell. o Chromosomes play a huge roll is genetic diversity.
