Building Your Circle

Most of us have a circle of support in our lives

It might include a neighbour that cuts our hedge at the same time as his own a son who drops us off at our hospital appointment friends made at a local exercise group a friend that picks up our child from school

We often unconsciously create these circles of support with people or places that help make our lives a little easier. Many of us also contribute to someone else’s circle – family members, neighbours or perhaps volunteering for a charity.

So, what is Your Circle? Your Circle is your support network of trusted people, places and services, created by you. It is tailored to your own needs and goals.

Building and enhancing Your Circle Whatever your situation, we want to help you build a strong and supportive circle to help you live an independent life for as long as possible. To support you in this, we have developed some tools to help.

Better access to information and advice To help you build Your Circle, we have developed a new website: www.yourcircle.org.ukwww.yourcircle.org.uk, By collecting advice, information, services and activities in one place, the site will help to make the most of all the different support options available within Gloucestershire.
