We work at the most senior levels with Chief Executives and Boards of organisations and systems to help them on their most critical issues. We help clients to get the most from their people, teams, organisations and system. Our work is led by our Directors who are deeply involved in the work. They bring decades of experience at the top of public sector organisations and consultancy and bring experience, expertise and judgement. This means we work on the most critical issues necessary to have an impact. The Role – Client development and bid manager This role is critical to ensuring effective business processes. We are looking to appoint some one to support partners in the development of business; primarily focusing on proposals, discussion, submission and follow through to contracting. We are looking for people with graduate level or equivalent qualifications with consistent employment history and ideally experience of and passionate about building a business. 3 3 Qualifications and experience Experience of business commercial processes, development of proposals and contracting Ideally from professional firm and similar role Graduate level or equivalent qualification with a consistent employment history Support Client development Support Partners in a regular review of client opportunities including assessing potential, prioritising next steps and follow through; drawing on Partners’ experience as appropriate Support business development in securing access to commercial frameworks Support partnerships with other firms establishing good working relationships Proposal and bid management Support proposal and bid management end to end; running bid process from kick off to submission Support drafting of proposals as required and in doing so maintain consistent branding and formatting Develop and maintain material to support proposals (case studies, CVs, qualifications etc.) Support development of commercial offer e.g. rate card and costing tables Ensure accurate timely submissions; proof-read proposals prior to submission: sense-check and ensure accuracy of crucial commercial information Maintain pipeline tool to report on current discussions and proposals including size, probability and timing; support finance team with accurate financial forecasting. Contract management Establish contracts and engagement letters that reflect agreed commercial terms Manage and maintain contractual records and documentation Work closely with the wider internal team to ensure contract visibility and awareness to support implementation as well as compliance with established business core processes Monitor customer satisfaction with Carnall Farrar terms and conditions and contracting practices Work closely with the finance team to manage fees structure for Associates as well as purchase orders and invoicing schedules Attributes Well organised, reliable and able to demonstrate a tight grip on processes People orientated, working with clients as well as support partners, associates and staff within the organisation Able to work under pressure, to tight deadlines and changing priorities Able to demonstrate skills in writing (word and PPT); quantitative analysis (Excel) and facilitating delivery through others Show drive and enthusiasm in shaping commercial processes within the business Client development and bid manager: expectations of the role

Ideally from professional services or similar role.
