1 These are the records of the generations of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, blameless in his time; Noah walked with God. ~Genesis 6:9 (NASB) Then Noah began farming and planted a vineyard. He drank of the wine and became drunk, and uncovered himself inside his tent. ~Genesis 9:20-21 (NASB)

2 Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brothers outside. But Shem and Japheth took a garment and laid it upon both their shoulders and walked backward and covered the nakedness of their father; and their faces were turned away, so that they did not see their father’s nakedness. When Noah awoke from his wine, he knew what his youngest son had done to him. So he said, “Cursed be Canaan; A servant of servants He shall be to his brothers.” ~Genesis 9:22-25 (NASB)

3 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. H ONOR YOUR FATHER AND MOTHER (which is the first commandment with a promise), SO THAT IT MAY BE WELL WITH YOU, AND THAT YOU MAY LIVE LONG ON THE EARTH. ~Ephesians 6:1-3 (NASB) Then he said, “The truth is, you must change your thinking and become like little children. If you don’t do this, you will never enter God’s kingdom.” ~Matthew 18:3 (ERV)
