1. Digital painting flower

2. Find a line drawing of a flower Save it to your computer Make sure it is a large, clear image!!!

3. Go to https://pixlr.com/web Click on the turquois “launch web app” buttonhttps://pixlr.com/web

4. 1)Choose Open image from computer 2)Open the jpeg image of your line drawing that you saved!

5. Add a new layer

6. On new layer choose the paint brush click on the color swatch and choose a color for your petals

7. Lower the opacity of the paint brush so that you can add more paint to one end of the petal to create a gradient.

8. Click hold down and paint one entire petal

9. Go over again and again one end of the petal to create gradient

10. Choose your eraser and clean up the edges

11. Add new layer and paint the next petal until you have painted it all!

12. For each painted layer click the layer options and choose a layer mode (all layers should have the same mode ie multiply)

14. File >save Format: Jpeg once saved as a jpej add to your portfolio!
