5 Project Title: mHealth Delivery of a Motivational Intervention to Address Heavy Drinking Among College Students Funding Opportunity: Exploratory and Developmental Grant to Improve Health Care Quality through Health Information Technology (R21) Funding for exploratory and developmental research grants that will contribute to the evidence base of how health IT improves health care quality. More specifically, this project is to pilot and feasibility of health IT research project, specifically to inform development of future health IT applications or systems Project Dates: Aug. 2015 – July 2017 Funding Amount: $300,000 Project Funding

16 Average daily usage time: 5.3 minutes Average number of MI messages sent for 4 users in a week: 83 Total number of Drinking Log entries by 4 users in a week: 11 Trivia Game scores (10 points per correct answer): –21,550 –20,680 –3,070 –1,140 No one completed the one week summary log We are also working on creating admin dashboard where we will be able to see all the user activity, including MI messages, user responses, & drink log.
